Worth it Wednesday :: Lavender Essential Oil

If you are like me, getting to bed at a decent hour after spending some time on social media is a challenge at times.

I am also one of those women who has at least 1,000 things on my brain before going to sleep.

{I KNOW you know what that is like, mommas!}

{Disclaimer: This is not a sponsored post, just my opinion and experience. Be sure to chat with your favorite EO consultant or distributor and your doctor before using EO’s – too much can actually do harm!}

Last year I was having SUCH a hard time falling sleep.  The one day, I was at a local vendor event and met a really sweet lady who was selling essential oils. I decided to stop by her table and check it out. She had an awesome display with her products and great information. We started talking and I told her I was having issues falling asleep and asked there were any oils that helped with that.

Up until then I didn’t know much about essential oils and I was eager just to learn.

I may be a little behind on the benefits to these oils, but I am sure glad I now learning more!

The lady encouraged  me to read up on Lavender Oil and how it helps to relax you. She suggested I try it before bed. She explained that there were different options for Essential Oil (EO) use. Some include:

  • Aromatically ~ as a mist via diffuser or specific EO jewelry
  • Topically ~ put a few drops on your pillow or even on the soles of your feet, you can get them in a roller ball option which is super convenient. Another way is to add drops of EO’s into your bath water ~ heavenly!

I decided to give it a try and I am going to tell you: I love it!!!!

Of course there are still some days I have challenges falling asleep, but on most days I sleep so well.

If you are like me and have issues falling asleep or even staying asleep I highly recommend Lavender Essential Oils as a solution. It is a more natural remedy vs. all the OTC sleep aids.  And take it from someone who used sleep aids for many years I am glad I found it!!!
