Clue: The Musical
Harbor Playhouse

The internationally popular game is now a fun filled musical which brings the world’s best known suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery: Who killed Mr. Boddy? In what room? And with what weapon? The audience receives forms to help them deduce the solution from clues given throughout the fun filled evening. Three audience members choose from cards representing the potential murderers, weapons and rooms… there are 216 possible solutions! Only one hard nosed detective is qualified to unravel the merry mayhem.

Community Options, Inc. invites runners, walkers, and rollers (baby strollers and wheelchairs) to help raise funds to make a difference in the lives of people with disabilities by participating in our annual Cupid’s Chase 5K. Help make a difference!

Barefoot Mardi Gras Parade And Festival
Padre Balli Park

Let the good times roll! This colorful and unique beach parade, followed by a festival of food, family fun, and music, only happens on Saturday, February 10. Free Parade at 11:00am. $5 Festival until 5:0pm. King & Queen’s Ball at 7:00pm.
Come early with all your friends and family for a great day at the beach on Padre Island near Bob Hall Pier. Kite Day 2018
Padre Island National Seashore

Come fly a kite! Padre Island National Seashore is hosting its annual Kite Day and you are invited! Kids can make their own kites (while supplies last) and kite flying clubs will give tips and demonstrations. Everything begins at 10 am on Saturday February 17, 2018 at the Malaquite Visitor Center Complex. This event is offered through partnerships with Surfside Flyers, Flyit! Post A, and Quinco Kites. To make traffic flow better for this event, the fee booth will be closed. Park entry fees can be paid at the Malaquite Visitor Center. Souper Bowl 2018
Art Center Of Corpus Christi

Buy a bowl, feed a family at the 2018 Souper Bowl fundraiser! One-of-a-kind ceramic bowls are hand crafted by The Barry Brown Clay Studio, located inside the Art Center. Local restaurants will be donating the soup. Proceeds directly benefit The Coastal Bend Food Bank and the Art Center of Corpus Christi.

2018 Big Shell Beach Clean Up

Help clean up marine debris from the beautiful and remote Big Shell Beach! The 23rd annual Billy Sandifer Big Shell Cleanup will be held on Saturday, February 24th, 2018. Organized by the Friends of Padre, a local group of anglers and other supporters of the park, this event is a great way to see some of the down-island areas of the park while helping to make a difference. To participate, meet at 8:00 a.m. at the Malaquite Pavilion parking lot. Arrive early! A FREE lunch will be provided after the event and the park entrance fee will be waived for the clean-up. Four-wheel drive vehicles, flatbed trailers for hauling trash in and out of the work area, and working volunteers are needed. Walking volunteers are welcomed and those without 4-wheel drive vehicles will be afforded transportation to and from the work area. Those who have 4-wheel drive vehicles but are unable to pick up trash are most welcome to aid in hauling volunteers. The event doesn’t re-schedule and will take place rain or shine.
