Honoring the Child You Lost

0

October 15th marks Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Day. October is also set aside to bring awareness.

Sadly, twenty five percent of pregnancies do not go full-term.

This October, our friend and owner of Twin Cities Moms Blog, Beth, suffered her third loss, a baby in her second trimester. Our hearts are absolutely broken for her. And because Beth set up a Forever Loved wall on her site to honor babies lost, we wanted to honor her babies and continue that legacy for Coastal Bend moms.

Moms continue to feel the loss of their babies, whether it’s marked on the calendar or not. We know it can feel as if you’re the only one remembering. We want to do something, however small, to help bring awareness and keep these babies’ memories alive.

Those little lives, however brief, made an impact.  The people who know you know a different you now, because of what you’ve been through.  And we all grieve with you, because your babies are loved. Their lives mattered. They made a mark on your heart and your life.

We’d like to help you visually mark those little lives. If you’d like to add your baby to the Forever Loved wall on our site, we would be honored to remember them with you.

Please use the form below to add your baby to our Forever Loved wall. We will make every effort to get submissions listed to the wall within 24 hours.  These names will stay on our site indefinitely.

Prior to starting Corpus Christi Moms Blog, Beth studied Marketing at Texas A&M University {Gig'em!} and earned her MBA from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi {Go Islanders!}. She spent her early career working local corporate gigs and teaching yoga before she, her husband, and their two kitty cat fur babies welcomed their son {2015}. Beth spends her days learning to balance life as a new mom. Despite being a native of Corpus Christi, she hates seafood but is always down for Mexican food and a good margarita! When she can, Beth loves reading, cooking something new, and sleeping.
