Our Summer Island ART Market is almost upon us! This event is open to ALL artisans! Our only rule is no resale.
We need your help! We are no longer allowed to place road signs out around the Island, so we need your help spreading the word. Please share this event, invite your friends & neighbors. It looks to be a beautiful day and we will have lots to offer! Come show the vendors some Island love!

Aransas Pass Shrimporee

The wait is over, head over to Arkansas Pass for their annual Shrimporee! Performances, Shrimp Eating Contest, belly dancers, fire dancers, pacifier islanders, mariachis, folklorico’s, children character shows and a petting zoo.

Music at the Mansion

Music at the Mansion is back this summer with THREE nights of wonderful music, FREE of charge! Enjoy views of Aransas Bay from the lawn of the beautiful Fulton Mansion State Historic Site while listening to bands from the local area. You can’t beat it!
This event is family and pet friendly (dogs must be leashed)! It is recommended that you bring your own lawn chairs or blankets for seating. Concessions will be available for purchase.

Twinkle Twinkle Little Star In The Space Room

Summer time fun begins at the ESA for your Little Explorers! Theme
mini “camps” introduce toddlers to early learning experiences which will help them prepare for school- at the same time showing them that education can be fun. Bring your children, ages 1 ½ to 3 ½, for interactive learning experiences were they will sing, dance, read and explore. Register here for $10 or $12 at the door.

Corpus Christi 1st Annual VegFest & 5K

Fruit Bones is helping to organize the first ever Corpus Christi VegFest & 5K Run/Walk! We will also be performing cooking demonstrations throughout the day (maybe even be a speaker for the event!). If you’re in the South Texas area or want a reason to visit some Texas beaches, come on down!!

This summer we will be reading three young adult books and we invite youth ages 10-15 to participate in the summer reading club and discussion evening.

June’s book is “Flush” by Carl Hiaasen
Flush is written by the same author as “Hoot”. In Flush a kid/parent duo investigate illegal dumping and polluting to protect the local environment.
