SweetPea Photography by Tracy is a sponsor in CCMB’s annual guide to area photographers. She specializes in photographing newborns, children, maternity, family, and seniors.
Local photographer Tracy Daugird grew up in Refugio, a sleepy little town just north of Corpus Christi. She attended college at Texas A&M University in College Station, where she met her future husband. After school, the couple married and moved to Corpus Christi to be near family and the coast.
Growing up, Tracy always loved photography. A childhood photo of her 7 year old self captured her holding her beloved camera. And as time passed, Tracy’s love of photography grew. In high school, a favorite pastime was putting together the school yearbook. Through the years, she happily served as “family photographer,” capturing special moments at gatherings.
Motherhood changes things. It clarified priorities for Tracy. The birth of her son made her understand even more the importance of preserving special moments in time.
Fittingly, her love of capturing life’s precious moments led Tracy to start her own photography business more than 10 years ago. She realizes each day that life is short. She finds joy and fulfillment in helping other families capture images that will last for generations.
Tracy and her beautiful work have been featured in The Bend magazine.
SweetPea by Tracy Specializes in:
Every photographer has a love that draws them to their art. Tracy’s absolute favorite photography is capturing newborns. She never tires of photographing their first days of life. She could do it every day!
Kids are fun but they change quickly and grow up fast! Photographing special occasions and milestones helps special memories last forever.
Pregnancy is a special time of hope and anticipation. Maternity photography sessions with Tracy give expecting moms a beautiful opportunity to make a fairly short period of time timeless.
Spending time with those you love is what matters most in life. Family is everything.
Special milestones like graduations are a fun opportunity to both celebrate the achievements of seniors and look forward to a hope filled future.
First and foremost, Tracy loves being a mother. Her family drives everything she does. They are the air she breathes, and being surrounded by images of loved ones makes Tracy truly happy. It is her sincere hope that the photography work she does will impact and inspire her son and his future family.
