Go Purple: Safe Families Festival

This is the 3rd Annual Family Violence Safety Resource Fair put on by the Women’s Shelter of South Texas. Head out to Del Mar College’s East Campus for valuable safety resources and lots of activities for the family from 10:30 am-3:30 pm.

Boys and Girls Club 2nd Annual Day for Kids

The Boys and Girls Club of the Coastal Bend will hold its 2nd Annual Day for kids. This is a FREE event and open to the public! Don’t miss the inflatables, games and prizes, food trucks, music, and more! Health and family resources will also be available from 10 am-2pm.

Rockport/Fulton Seafair

The Annual Rockport/Fulton Seafair is happening at the Festival Grounds at Rockport Harbor. Participate in contests, watch the parade, and enjoy many other activities. Live music will be playing all weekend, including a show by the Spazmatics.

Asbury Fall Harvest

This fall festival is one of CCMB’s Top Picks because you’re sure to have a fun-filled day here! Asbury Methodist Church hosts this festival every year with plenty of FREE food, carnival games, a hay ride, a huge pumpkin patch, a puppet show, and inflatables.

“Balloona Palooza” Hot Air Balloon Festival

This Hot Air Balloon Festival is coming to the Coastal Bend for the first time! The Balloona Palooza will have a hot air balloon release, tethered balloon rides, balloon glow, food, music, and other activities for the whole family. Friday 4pm-12am, Saturday 6am-9am and 4pm-12am, and Sunday 6am-9am and 2pm-11pm.

Portland’s Boo Bash

Portland’s Parks and Recreation will be hosting their 11th Annual Boo Bash at the Joe Burke Pavilion. Join in on some FREE fun with costume contests, a pumpkin decorating contest, carnival games, and inflatable slides. Also, the bloodmobile will be on site for those wishing to donate.

Dia De Los Muertos Festival

Come out to the 9th Annual Dia De Los Muertos Street Festival in  downtown Corpus Christi. There is plenty of fun at this festival including a kid’s area, crafts, games, art demonstrations, and a rock wall.  Listen to live music from various Texas artists, and see other cultural performances! Vendors for food, art work, crafts, and jewelry will also be on site.

Monster Mash Cupcake Dash

The Monster Mash Cupcake Dash is a 5K race or 2 mile walk put on by the staff at Family Counseling Services. This family-friendly event will include cupcakes, snacks, awards and door prizes for registered participants. Registration and package pick-up is at 7 AM. The race begins at 8:30 am.

32nd Annual Cottonfest

The 32nd Annual Cottonfest is returning to Robstown. This family-friendly event includes concerts (Country, Tejano, 80’s, and Top 40), lots of food, school age performances, and a carnival.

Early Scholars Academy Family Fun Festival

The Early Scholars Academy will be holding a Family Fun Festival geared toward families and children ages 3 1/2 to 8 years old. Themed activites will be available to explore in all of the ESA discovery rooms. Pre-register online. This is a perfect daytime event for young children.
