Santa Arrives at La Palmera’s Winter Wonderland

Come experience Santa’s Winter Wonderland at La Palmera Mall. Join your friends and watch for Santa’s parade! Then, help greet Santa, his live reindeer, and other Ice Princess characters while you visit!

November 4

St. Nicholas’ Annual Greek Festival of Corpus Christi

Join in on the celebration of Greek Culture and cuisine as St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church launches its annual Greek Festival for 2016. They’ll have music and dance performances, too! The event kicks off at 5 pm on Friday, November 4 until 11 pm that evening and then again on Saturday, November 5, from noon to 11 pm. Finally, the festival wraps up on Sunday, November 6 from noon to 5 pm.

South Texas Botanical Gardens Buck Day

Enjoy flora, fauna, and fun at the South Texas Botanical Gardens! See the Rose Garden, conservatories, and the Sensory Garden. Meet Resident Reptiles and exotic parrots. While visiting, be sure to stop by the butterfly exhibit for more fun! Then, explore the trails and wetlands! Admission only $1!!

St. John the Baptist’s 6th Annual Family Fall Festival

St. John the Baptist Catholic Church hosts their annual family fall festival. Play games, eat food, and listen to live music. Look for the Veterans Jazz Band, Scarecrow people, and more musicians! Come on out to the parish grounds of Yorktown and Everhart for lots of family fun!

CC Kites and Bikes Festival

Come on down to North Beach, next to the USS Lexington for the Kites and Bikes Festival. They will promote awareness and education about family fun and fitness opportunities here in Corpus Christi. While you are there, don’t miss out on a bicycle ride, a walk, fitness and kite demonstrations, and exhibitors. Also, enjoy stunt kite flyers, kite making stations, and tons of other family activities! Remember to pack a healthy picnic lunch!

Corpus Christi Jewish Food Festival

Time for the 30th Annual Jewish Food Festival! Lots of yummy food and sweets available for purchase! On Saturday, listen to live music, and watch an illusionist/magician. On Sunday, meet Mr. E. the Mystery Magic Clown. Enter a raffle and live auction, too!

Miles for Meals 2016

Join in on a nighttime 5k glow run and walk along Corpus Christi Bay on the Northshore golf course! ALL proceeds benefit the Food Bank of Corpus Christi! Food trucks, live music, and a gorgeous course!

2nd Annual Hot Tamale Festival

The Corpus Christi Hot Tamale Street Fest will be showcasing South Texas’ best tamales. Visit the beautiful Marina Arts District of Downtown Corpus Christi, while having your fill of a variety of Tamales from some of the best restaurants in town. In addition, try out a selection of beers and beverages with the tamales. See who wins Corpus Christi’s Best Tamale and Best Creative Tamale. Relax and enjoy a variety of entertainment including a children’s talent show, local live music acts and much more. And, don’t forget to be there for Corpus Christi’s first Hot Tamale Eating Contest, too.

Ranch Hand Festival

The City of Kingsville celebrates a weekend of food, fun, and family at the Ranch Hand Weekend. The festival honors the city’s heritage and ranching industry with food, wine, live music, cooking demonstrations, art, storytelling, local authors and more! On Friday, be sure to stay for the lighting of Downtown and their Christmas tree.

26th Annual Ranch Hand Breakfast

A highlight of the Ranch Hand Weekend in Kingsville is the annual Ranch Hand breakfast. For only $6, enjoy a breakfast of eggs, refried beans, biscuits and gravy, sausage, tortillas, coffee and juice. While you’re there, watch team roping demonstrations, re-enactors, musical entertainment, poetry, and storytelling.
