Holiday themed dishes are VERY enjoyable. Spending five hours on Pinterest looking for those recipes? Not so much… Well, OK, I’m not going to lie. That’s enjoyable too. {And I’ve curated some additional GREAT items over there too, but I digress…} Sometimes you don’t have five hours to spare and getting distracted and going down the internet wormhole of nail polish and summer hairstyles can be quite the time-suck.

4th of July Eats | Coastal Bend Mom CollectiveSo let’s make life a bit easier, here are some of the best food and drink recipes Pinterest has to offer to help you celebrate the 4th of July.

4th of July Drinks

Festive Drink

Nonalcoholic Drinks

4th of July Punch: Using fresh fruit, cranberry juice, orange juice, lime juice, pink lemonade, and club soda, this punch is sure to please the hot, thirsty masses.

Red, White, and Blue Drink: This creative layer drink looks deceptively easy. Using cranberry juice, blue Gatorade, and Diet 7-Up, you pour the liquids individually to create the layer effect.  (Tears of frustration are not included with this recipe; however, after a few failed attempts, they might be included in your finished product.)

Red, White and Blue Jello Ice Cubes: Using holiday appropriate colors, freeze the prepared jello in ice cube trays and after 4 hours, pop them in your favorite lemon lime drink. An added bonus of these non-melting cubes is that you get to eat them once your drink is done.

Fruit Cubes: Using water; freeze raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, and blackberries in ice cubes trays. Once frozen; pop them in a cool glass of water, lemonade, or lemon lime soda.

Alcoholic Drinks

Bomb Pop Shots: Inspired by the popular popsicle treat, this is another layer drink that may or may not be easy to accomplish. It requires Sprite, lemon vodka and blue Curacao. Using ice, you mix the vodka and Sprite, then layer the liquids using a bar spoon.

Red, White, and Blue Sangria: Put a 4th of July twist on this classic summer beverage by adding blueberries and strawberries.

Watermelon Blueberry Coconut Daiquiri: If you’re good with a blender, this is for you. Using fresh watermelon, blueberries, and many different coconut concoctions, you can make the perfect drink to cool down.

4th of July Wine Sparklers: This simple wine spritzer is a breeze to prepare and complements a relaxing day outside with friends and family.
